Introduction
|
Darwin V-belts are renowned for balanced combination of Strength,
Modulus, Energy of rupture, Adhesion, Thermal and Fatigue life
properties demanded by a wide range of applications. This has
become possible through the selection of high-grade load carrying
cords and the combination of Premier quality rubber Compounds
needed for optimum performance in dusty and gritty conditions,
apart from imparting excellent oil, heat and wear resistance along
with anti-static properties.

Construction
Features of DARWIN CODE FREE V-Belts

1.
Cover
Fabric: This is manufactured from a strong cotton fabric
impregnated with specially compounded Neoprene rubber.
This cover resists external influence and secures uniform
friction against pulley grooves without losing its flexibility.
2.
Cushion
Rubber: This maintains good adhesion of tension member and
holds it in correct position.
3.
Tension
Member: This is made of specially treated polyester cords,
which have high tensile strength, low elongation and excellent
resistance to bending fatigue.
4.
Compression Rubber: For long life,
specially compounded high hold modulus compression rubber is used to
resist extreme heat and compression.
