User Information:
Surface temperature of
the belt varies with the type and size of the material, belt speed and
loading rate. With large lumps (e.g. sintered ores, coke) which allow
air to circulate, the belt surface would be cooler than the lumps. In
the case of powdery or similar materials, such as cements, aluminum,
carbon black, there is almost no temperature difference between material
and belt surface.
In order to select a
proper heat resistant conveyor belt it is necessary to consider not only
the temperature of materials to be conveyed but also surface
temperatures of its belts.

Heat & Oil Resistant Conveyor Belt
This is a special grade
belt which is recommended for conveying hot asphalt with temperature up to
175°C(350°F) where both oil & heat resistance are required. With the
properties of both oil resistance and heat resistance build in the cover
of the belt, it is known as Heat & Oil Resistant Conveyor Belt.
8
Flame Resistant (FR) Conveyor Belt
When belts are used in
places not easily accessible, it is very important that fire risks be
eliminated if possible. Two kinds of fire resistant belts are
manufactured: one is specially treated natural SBR Rubber and the
other one Chloroprene covered belt.
Flame Duration Time : To
a flame at 1000±100°C, a belt test specimen of full
thickness shall be inserted against flame, and after keeping it burning for 1 minute, take the burner
off, then measure the flame duration time of the tested specimen.
Flame
Reappearance Test : After
60±10 seconds from when the burner is removed for the
flame duration test. air is blown at speed of 1.5 m/sec.
with an air blower from the direction shown in the figure
to the left. And the test specimen shall be visually
inspected for reappearance of flame.
Drum Friction
Test : For
each test conducted, the belting shall show no sign of
flame (sparks or glow not being objectionable), the drum temperature shall not exceed
325°C, and the sample shall
part within the 3 hour test period.

Rough Top Conveyor Belt
|
Rough
Top conveyor belts have been designed for transporting fragile or easily
deformed goods such as glass, paper bags, carton boxes at inclined angles. Meshes
of net pattern on the top surface cover have a cushioning effect,
mollifies and absorbs vibrations and impact of transported materials and
simultaneously prevents slipping.
|
 |
Special Features
Cushioning effect absorbs vibration and
reduces slippage.
Slip resisting surface is ideal for steep
incline/decline applications. Usable
at an angle of 25~35 degrees depending on goods carried.
Low friction coefficient with bare back
bottom.
Various Colours available.

" DARWIN " Synthetic
Conveyor belt
|
All Synthetic fabric
conveyor rubber belt is being successfully used in every industry where
bulk material handling is required. It is stronger, lighter and gives
better performance, thereby reducing cost per ton material conveyed.
Incorporated two to six all synthetic plies. 'Darwin Super' conveyor
rubber belting has an integrated construction to carry bulk materials in
larger quantities over longer distances at high speeds.
Special
Features
The
high tenacity and better strength/weight ratio of Synthetic yarns, as
compared to Cotton Yarn, led to the development of all synthetic fabrics
resulting in belting with better flex/fatigue resistance, much improved
impact resistance, unsurpassed longitudinal and transverse flexibility and
other following advantages:
|
 |
Higher
Adhesion Levels:
All Synthetic fabric reinforced belts have
adhesion levels more than double to that of Cotton reinforced Conveyor
Belt, resulting in no ply separation even with high contact, making
belt travel possible on very small pulley diameters, complete
elimination of cover stripping, improved edge wear characteristics,
redundancy of breaker construction both on face and edge.
Less
Number Of Plies For Same Strength:
The extremely high breaking
strength of the Synthetic fabric gives stronger individuals plies,
making it possible to meet a given individual strength requirement
with lesser number of plies as compared to cotton conveyor belt. A
reduction in belt thickness enables belt use on much smaller pulley
diameters. Longer roll lengths can be supplied due to reduction in
belt thickness, which reduces the number of joints on long drive.
Reduced
Belt Weight: All Synthetic fabric reinforced conveyor belts have
reduced belt weight as compared to its equivalent All-Cotton of
Cotton/Nylon construction. It can be easily handled during the
installation due to reduced weight and also improves the idler
performance and life by reduction of load on them. Lesser power is
required to operate the belt due to its lightweight.
Higher
Impact Resistance: The superior consolidation of the belt, the
high adhesion levels and also the intrinsic properties of all
Synthetic plies result in a belt having a lot more resistance than
conventional belting. This renders the use of breaker construction in
belting superfluous of:
-
Significant higher adhesion level between cover and carcass, which can
only be achieved with a breaker for conventional cotton/nylon thicker
covers available for wear/abrasion.
-
Inherently higher carcass flexibility.
To
The User This Provides: Full width fabric reinforcement. Fabric
reinforced edges which provides additional resistance to edge wear. Elimination of peeling away of Top cover from the edges.
11
Heavy Abrasion Resistant Conveyor Belt

Resistant Conveyor Belting is designed for an ultimate to abrasion.
It is recommended for transporting abrasive materials.
It assures its
longer lifetime and is suitable for conveying glass, cullet, granite, trap
rock and other abrasive substances.
